Japanese Knotweed Contamination
ECS has been awarded a prestigious remediation contract following a successful bid by NHS Eastern, for government funding for a new £13 million remediation and re development scheme.
The key contributing factor for the selection of ECS for this important new re development project was our excellent ecological capability. ECS’s ability to work in affiliation with the remediation targets whilst taking into consideration local sensitivities with regards to the eradication of the severe
Japanese Kontweed contamination located on this re development site were recognised by NHS Eastern.
The re development area is situated in the fastest growing town between London and continental Europe. There are plans to develop 28,000 news jobs and build 31,000 new homes over the next two decades.
ECS will also be involved in close liaison with local residents to ensure that any additional outbreaks of
Japanese Kontweed are noted and dealt with promptly and cost effectively.
