Japanese Knotweed London
ECS has utilised its invasive weed eradication capabilities to undertake extensive treatment of Japanese knotweed in one of West London’s most pleasant parks as part of a £7million project, part financed by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
ECS advised on the extent of the infestation, and used its engineering capability to carefully remove contaminated soil from one significant area. ECS’s design team developed innovative solutions to enable the client to complete their renovation works in contaminated areas across the site, and advised on a long term strategy that would eradicate all of infestation.
ECS’s developer clients frequently come across tricky problems relating to Japanese knotweed that could potentially hold-up the projects for months or exceed available budgets. As in the above example, ECS specialises in developing innovative strategies that enable the client to progress their projects within budget and on time.
