ECS LEADERS IN THE FIELD OF JAPANESE KNOTWEED ERADICATION!
ECS has shown the way forward by using our tailor made solutions for a substantial development site in close proximity to a well known landmark in London.
The site had many complex issues which ECS were able to successfully surmount. By using our own engineering team we were able to devise an eradication strategy which fulfilled all the necessary remits, whilst at the same time taking into consideration the budget allocated to this project.
An instant solution was essential to enable the project to commence to the required timescale. Our Spoil to Soil methodology was the optimum solution enabling the client to eradicate the Japanese Knotweed and eliminating the need to take vast quantities of contaminated soil off site.
By utilising this eradication option the client was able to take advantage of the Government tax relief for on site remediation. As a direct result ECS has saved the client more than £120,000 in Japanese knotweed remediation costs.
The ultimate outcome is that the client now has a site free of all Japanese Knotweed contamination with the added benefit of being able to accrue considerable surplus funds, which will now be re-allocated towards additional alterations and improvements for the general public.
